We believe that entrepreneurial thinking is one of the most important skills a child can develop — not because every child will grow up to own a business, but because every adult benefits from knowing how to identify opportunities, manage money wisely, and persevere through challenges.
Business Basics for Kids is the only program of its kind: a structured curriculum that takes a child from “I have an idea” all the way through to running a real, functioning business — with earnings that are 100% theirs to keep.

Research from the University of Cambridge found that children’s core money habits — how they think about saving, spending, and the link between effort and reward — are largely in place by the age of seven. Research from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business confirmed that children form distinct attitudes about money at a surprisingly young age, and that those attitudes, left unaddressed, tend to carry through into adult life.
The window between ages 5 and 11 is the most important period in a child’s financial development — and it is precisely the window most schools leave unaddressed. Business Basics for Kids was built to fill that gap.
